Position Overview

To strengthen our product application and R\&D capabilities in confectionery, sauces, dairy, and beverages, and to better support evolving market demands, we are looking for two talented Application Technologists to join our team. Job Focus Areas

1. Confectionery & Sauce Application Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct application research and formulation development for pectin, carrageenan, and other hydrocolloids in confectionery, jam, and sauce products.
  • Customize product solutions based on client needs and provide timely technical support.
  • Deliver product knowledge and market trend training for clients and internal teams.

 

2. Dairy & Beverage Application Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on the application and functionality of pectin, carrageenan, and citrus fiber in dairy products, beverages, and fruit juice.
  • Lead product development, prototyping, and formulation optimization based on customer requirements.
  • Share insights on market trends and product innovations through technical training and presentations.

 

General Responsibilities

  • Analyze product trends and formulation structures of marketleading brands to guide internal application research.
  • Draft feasibility reports and technical documents related to hydrocolloid application solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide professional technical support and training.
  • Oversee lab management system development, including SOPs, safety protocols, and daily operations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of lab equipment and environment, and handle emergencies as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Food Engineering, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
  • Background in jam, confectionery, fermented dairy, or beverage formulation is a plus.
  • Aged under 35 preferred; relevant experience in the food industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using lab instruments and office software, with at least 2 years of handson lab experience.
  • Solid knowledge of food technology and familiarity with food safety regulations.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, execution, coordination, and problemsolving skills.
